Terms & Conditions
These terms currently cover vertical printing bookings with Signature Surfaces. Please read them carefully before booking — by proceeding with a booking, you agree to be bound by them in full.
1. Agreement To Terms
By booking a vertical (direct-to-wall) printing service with Signature Surfaces, or by proceeding with any print once work has begun, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Wall Condition
Print quality depends heavily on the condition of the surface being printed. We cannot accept responsibility for the effect of pre-existing wall conditions on the finished result, including but not limited to:
- Pre-damaged walls
- Cracks, holes, dents or uneven areas
- Bowed or warped surfaces
- Dusty, dirty, greasy or otherwise poorly prepared walls
- Flaking paint, loose plaster or damp surfaces
Any of the above may remain visible, or become more visible, once printing is complete.
3. Wall Preparation
Wall preparation is not included as part of our standard vertical printing service unless agreed with us in advance. The wall must be clean, dry, smooth and ready to print on our arrival. We reserve the right to decline a job on-site if the surface is not fit for printing, without compensation for any resulting cancellation or delay.
4. Weather & Environmental Conditions
Environmental conditions can materially affect print quality, particularly for outdoor or unheated spaces. We are not responsible for issues arising from:
- Cold weather or low temperatures
- High humidity or excess moisture
- Poor ventilation
Temperature and humidity both affect how ink cures and adheres to a surface, and results printed in unsuitable conditions may vary accordingly.
5. Pre-Existing Damage
We are not liable for any damage already present on a wall or surface before work begins, or for pre-existing defects that become more noticeable once a finish has been applied. Vertical printing, painting and Venetian plastering are decorative finishes and cannot repair or conceal underlying structural or surface damage.
6. Design Approval
You are responsible for reviewing and approving the final design, size and placement before printing starts. Once printing has begun, changes to the design can no longer be made, and we are not able to offer a refund or rework based on a change of mind after this point.
7. Site Access & Workspace
Clear, unobstructed access to the work area must be available at the agreed appointment time. Where restricted access causes delays or requires additional work, this may result in extra charges, which will be discussed with you before proceeding.
8. Liability
Our liability in connection with any service we provide is limited to the amount paid for that service. Any concerns with completed work must be reported to us within 24 hours of completion; concerns raised after this period will be treated as accepted work.
9. Acceptance
By proceeding with a booking and allowing work to begin, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.
